Dr. Christian Heyerhoff
Christian was raised in Oakville, Ontario until high school when his family moved to a small farm in North Hatley, Quebec. He obtained his Honours degree in Animal Biology from the University of Guelph in 2010. In 2015, he graduated from University College Dublin (UCD), Ireland with his Veterinary Degree. After graduation, Christian participated in the Summer Dairy Institute at Cornell University. He then joined the Prescott Animal Hospital/Rideau-St. Lawrence Veterinary Services team practicing both small animal and large animal medicine. Christian’s interests lie in large animal medicine and surgery with a special interest in dairy herd health and preventative medicine. Christian and his wife Jess live in Kemptville with their son Ethan, dog “Ellie” and two cats “Guelah” and “Jack”. In his spare time, Christian enjoys playing basketball, baseball and socializing with friends.
